A. I think some of them do. I think some of them have moral convictions about it. Some of them do it for political advantages. I am sure that some of them are serious and sincere. I don’t doubt their motives at all. I think when Senator [Herbert H.] Lehman talks about it, he is sincere. He’s a stateman. Senator [Paul] Douglas is sincere. He says a moral issue is involved. I think some others will do it for political advantage. They see it is politically expedient and they use it.
