Ever since back in 2009 when I first met one of the sharpest humans thaI have ever known as I would consider a "Knowledge Scholar!", he told me about a bookstore that he had wanted to stop by that was hella cool that I might like. He told me of the brother that owned the place by the name of Hakim. We drove over to what would be my equivalent of a child first seeing F.A.O. Scwartz in person for the first time in Union Square in San Francisco!
The First thing that made my heart cry when I seen BIG AS FICK covering the top part of the building was, "WE SHIP TO PRISONS!" I was beyond IMMEDIATLY WANTING TO TELL EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT I KNEW FROM JUST THAT STATEMENT ALONE! Here I am educated in "Marcus Books", "Abe Books" "T-Wauzi" and hella hole in the wall bookstores over the years that I had passed through, but this bookstore experience for me only rivaled one bookstore that was my favorite that I POPE TO NEVER GO BACK TO, AND THAT IS "THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND REHIBILITATION!"
From the front of the steps I felt an energy that can only be described like the first time I got asked by a project manager at the company that i was working for, "Do you want to do the same thing that you are doing in the office in Richmond, California out in New Jersey?" With them paying me to eat, 5 star hotels, and the sickest rentals, and I get to fly back home EVERY 4TH WEEK FOR 5 DAYS OF REST OF 5 DAYS, AND THEN FLY BACK AND WORK AGAIN?!
Iam going to continue later in the morning, I'm at 6 percent on my Own battery too.
