One thing that I have came into the personal knowledge of based on my observation from the dialogue spoken word for word before we (Our Ancestors felt it was time to deliver unto us not only the #FaxOverFixedShun to ensure our future without the affliction of misquoted jokes voted on by the powers that never should have been in the first place, but also confirmation and affirmation of our actual winning this raw backwards that too was #HIDden from among us by parasites that felt that #flavery was the best method to civilize the so-called #NobelSavage into the #HappyDarky that we still have yet to have knowledge of when this was supposed to have started?!.., more on that subject later...) even decided to go forward with the POPEn Ent.'s "My Great Grandfather Told Me" #HIDstoryLesson series, I noticed that (outside of a few terminologies that I wasn't yet privy to before my duckduckgo filled me in on what was missing that I needed to know.) the way that my great grandfather spoke into our future was going to not be #RocketSurgery for us to figure it out regardless of your #EducationLevel it would be consistant like math, "this plus this equals this... or if not you drew a line through the equal sign when we're doing equations!"

Great Grandfather Dr. Ernest C. Dickson MD: "Such immunity has been known to occur in a number of infections; small-pox is possibly the best example. Together with that, however, one must group yellow-fever, and nearly all of the exanthematous diseases of childhood - measles, scarlet fever, German measles and a number of others. The fact that after recovery from a disease of this character one is no longer susceptible to the dis-ease was well recognized by the ancients, who also believed that the same principle held true for poisons. Thus we have the term Mithridatism, which derives its origin from the habit which, according to Pliny, Mithridates had of immunizing himself against poisons. He was very much afraid of being poisoned by his enemies and he accustomed himself to lethal doses of a number of substances by first taking minute amounts and then gradually larger doses, thus acquiring a complete immunity. It is of considerable moderm interest to know that Mithridates employed for the production of his immunity the blood of fowls which had been fed upon poison indicating that he believed that in the blood of fowls thus tested, a protecting was present which he could himself absorb through the intestinal tract.
It has also been stated that in India certain of the casts, especially who belong to the profession of snake charmers are in the habit of rendering themselves immune by allowing themselves to be bitten first by snakes of low virulence and then subsequently by more virulent species, until gradually the acquire an immunity so that they are quite resistant to the bite of mos poisonous vipers. In this connection it is said these snake charmers employ their saliva for therapeutic purposes. If a native be bitten by a snake he appeals to the snake charmer, who collects a little of his saliva , rubs it into the bite and heals the wound. This is of very doubtful authenticity, and the experience of the English army speaks entirely against it. It is stated by very accurate observers that the snake charmers themsrlves are not immune : that it is their skill in handling poisonous snakes which preserves their lives. They seldom allow themselves to be bitten and if they do happen to be so careless as to be attacked by the vipers they apply at once to the European physicians for treatment.
The first real knowledge of the production of AntiToxic substances dates from the discovery of Behring and Kitasato in 1890 of an AntiToxine for tetanus. A great deal of work had been done on the subject of immunity before that time by nearly all the investigators in bacteriology, especially by Koch and by Pasteur, and it had been shown by the gradual introduction of small or sub-lethal doses of bacteria, that is, doses not sufficiently great to cause death, that one can accustom animals to bacterial poisons, so that they will withstand fatal doses. The first observations, however, of any very great importance are those of Behring and Kitasato, whose paper was published in the Deutsche Medicinische Wochenschrift in 1890. They pointed out that if one takes the toxine of tetanus and treats animals, by giving them at first small, and then gradually increasing doses, then the blood serum of the animals contains certain substances which have the capacity of neutralizing the tetanus toxine. This is the observation which gives us any very definite information in regard to actual production of neutralizing or protective substances in the blood of immune animals.
