I said that to say that this situation of dixtractions, subtractions, and lack of compassions has REALly gotten our people detached from our natural essence from missing our Elder's and Ancestor's lessons. I have been studying all of my life to be prepared when I get a pop quiz or a survival test.
A wise Elder by the name of brother Yaya had once told me... "Our people are always looking for the right way to do wrong!" It stuck with me to the point of EVERY obstacle and challenge thrown at me, I used it as a template for my discipline which in turn began the blessings and the spiritual equivalent of luxury. I always been a little more advanced for my age, always tryin to learn something new, sharin quotes and takin notes from our Elders and the world was what I had to explore if it was up to me.
I (now that the dust is settling) have REALized that I am one of the people that it's up to to lead us away from the fuckery and into our direction of making it for our generations to come, according to the Ancestors who happened to get in touch with me. I know you're thinking the other way around, but as they were throwing obstacles and curve balls in my direction, I seen that it was because of what they had planned when I stepped back and recognize that EVERY experience was for this challenge of being disciplined and prepared to a Village big enough to have a whole lot of company.
